Simon Pilbrow is a Jazz Pianist, originally born in the UK and based out of Melbourne. Simon's debut album, Colours of Sound, includes all original compositions with stunning big band and orchestral arrangements by Brent Fischer.

Colours Of SoundSimon Pilbrow with the Brent Fischer Orchestra, a CD of 12 original compositions by Simon Pilbrow, with arrangements by Brent Fischer was released in September 2017. The album features a mixture of tunes drawn from over three decades of writing. The music was recorded by a dream team of top ranking LA-based musicians, including Bob Sheppard, Scott Whitfield, Andy Martin, Carl Saunders, Ron Stout, Alex Budman, Brian Clancy, Kirsten Edkins, Bob McChesney, Craig Gosnell, Mike Stever, Ray Brinker, Chuck Berghofer and special featured guests include clarinetist Ken Peplowski, trumpeter Bobby Shew, and guitarist Larry Koonse. 

Compositions featured on Colours Of Sound: Australia, Studio City, New Beginning, A Fischer’s Line, Try for Ages, Joyful, Blue Six, September, Remembering Woody Shaw, Autumn Breeze, Fast Fingers and Surprise. 

Simon plays the Yamaha M1 piano and the Roland RD 700.
